Current Events For 2007-08 Season

September 2007

The 2007 dove season finnally arrived. We put up the fishing gear, and grabbed our shotguns for another fun dove season.
Opening weekend was great as usual. The birds seemed to have better morning flights than evening. We had hunters from all over the country. The lodge was filled with 3 different groups that have openned dove season at the Y Bar Ranch for 3 years in a row. Many thanks goes out to this great group of hunters. See ya next year.

 

 

Our mid week group had a great hunt. This Texas based group hunted made this their 4th year in a row to hunt at the Y Bar Ranch. This group would not be complete without their prize "hood ornament". A special thanks goes out to this group from the entire Y Bar Ranch staff.

 

 

Our second weekend group, Did that just happen? This group was mainly a Houston based. The hunting was good, except for a Saturday afternoon, when it rained. This was the 2nd year in a row that this group has hunted with us. Many thanks goes out to this great group of guys.
